WestIndies defeated England in the first test match.

It's been so long that we have witnessed Cricket.During this pandemic with new rules and regulation,finally Cricket have started.And we have seen a great competitive match between England and West Indies.

West Indies have won the 1st Test match by 4 wickets,defeating England in their home.The first test match was held in Southampton.England batted first and scored  204 in their 1st Innings.Stokes made 43 runs and Rory Burns 30 and Jason Holder took 6-42 in the first innings.Then West Indies batted really well in their first innings by putting up a total of 318 runs and have taken the lead.K Brathwaite and Dowrich were the leading run scores in that innings .They scored 65 and 61 respectively.Ben Stokes took 4 crucial wickets and Anderson took 3 wickets.

In reply to that 1st innings score,England put a respectable total of 318 runs and set up a target of 200 runs for WestIndies.Zak Crawley scored 76 runs,D Sibley 50 runs and Gabriel got fifer in the 2nd innings.England made it little bit difficult for WestIndies to chase down the target by taking 6 wickets.Jofra Archer took 3 crucial wickets.But Blackwood  played a sensational knock at the end of 95 runs and that's how WestIndies won the match by 4 wickets.Black wood was crowned as Man of the match.

IIT-Gandhinagar team develops AI-based tool to detect COVID-19 using chest X-rays

Researchers at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Gandhinagar have developed an Artificial Intelligence-based(AI) deep learning tool for detection of COVID-19 from chest X-ray images. The online tool, which indicates the probability if a person is infected with COVID-19, can be used for quick preliminary diagnosis before the medical test. It is being tested by the Indian Institute of Public Health (IIPH) . The IIT researchers pooled the data of X-ray images of COVID-19 infected patients as well as healthy persons from different sources available on the internet.They trained a machine learning architecture using deep learning algorithms with these images. Krishna Prasad Miyapuram, the associate professor of cognitive science and computer science, who supervised the IIT project claimed that the tool outperforms other such high-tech devices available globally.
