Virus is an Indian Malayalam language Medical Thriller film released in 2019, set on the premises of 2018 Nipah Virus outbreak in Kerala. A man, Zakariya Mohammed gets admitted in the Government hospital, Kozhikode, suffering from symptoms of a virus which is unknown to the doctors. Then, the health department comes to know that these are the symptoms of Nipah virus and the death rate from the previous cases around the world starts scaring them. The number of patients infected by this virus starts increasing and it takes shape of an epidemic over there. The streets all over the locality becomes desolate. The health department forms a team and starts tracing out the individuals who came in contact with the infected patients previously. With all these pressure, how they get to know the origin of this disease and how the patients got infected ?
In this movie, the sacrifices, bravery and the risks taken by each member of the health department has been shown so beautifully. 

Positive Points-
1. Screenplay of this movie is so good, from the starting minute it keeps you on the edge of your seat.
2. Its a multi starter movie, each and everyone did a splendid job.
3. Director is really successful in creating the chaos that the outbreak made.
4. The background music of this one totally helps to add up the tension.
Negative Point-
I didn't find any !

IIT-Gandhinagar team develops AI-based tool to detect COVID-19 using chest X-rays

Researchers at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Gandhinagar have developed an Artificial Intelligence-based(AI) deep learning tool for detection of COVID-19 from chest X-ray images. The online tool, which indicates the probability if a person is infected with COVID-19, can be used for quick preliminary diagnosis before the medical test. It is being tested by the Indian Institute of Public Health (IIPH) . The IIT researchers pooled the data of X-ray images of COVID-19 infected patients as well as healthy persons from different sources available on the internet.They trained a machine learning architecture using deep learning algorithms with these images. Krishna Prasad Miyapuram, the associate professor of cognitive science and computer science, who supervised the IIT project claimed that the tool outperforms other such high-tech devices available globally.
