Super Deluxe- A Must Watch

You Just Can't Miss This One !
Super Deluxe is an Indian Telegu Language Thriller film released on 2019. This movie is a bit dark and deals with human philosophy and talks about certain problems of our society. It has a slight touch of dark comedy too. 


Vaembu (played by Samantha) had arrange marriage with Mugil (played by Fahad Faasil) who is a struggling actor. The movie starts with Vaembu calling her college-time lover and she gets to know that he is in trouble so she asks him to visit her house. After her ex-lover visited her house, they do sex and suddenly the guy dies. Vaembu gets afraid and have no idea how to deal with this body. Then, Mugil arrives with some of the guests of his neighbour. Before Vaembu could confess it to Mugil, he finds out the body and gets shocked. Later, in the movie we get to know that they were struggling in their marriage for a long time. 


A little boy, Rasukutty (played by Ashwanath Ashokkumar), who is eagerly waiting to see his father, who left home few years back without giving any cause. Jyothi (played by Gayathrie) Rasukutty's mother, is too waiting patiently for a long time for her husband to come back and she has faith in her husband that's why she doesn't believe in any rumours that her husband cheated on her and isnt gonna come back. Her love for her husband is being shown in her patience. Then both of them finds that Manickam, Rasukutty's father, is now a transgender woman. 


A group of boys who bunked their school to watch porn in one of their friend's house and when they play it, one of them (Soori) finds his mother, Leela (played by Ramya Krishnan) in that film. He gets shocked and out of anger he breaks Thuyavan's tv. And then Soori runs away crying to his mother, Mohan follows him. Thuyavan gets afraid and then he with two of his friends try to manage money to buy Tv before Thuyavan's father finds the broken one.


When Soori went to his mother, Leela, he had a screw driver and he trips while climbing the stairs and stabs himself. Now, Leela takes him to hospital then Arputham, (father of Soori), who thinks there's God in a stone and he is the Right Hand of the Lord, arrives in the scene and stops Leela from taking Soori to hospital because he thinks he can save his son, Soori with his Lord's healing power. There occurs a chaos between them.
Now all these stories converge at a point in the climax.
How Vaembu and Mugil will get rid of the dead body? How Manickam's family and society will react after finding his truth about being a transgender woman? How Thuyavan and his friends will get money to buy a new Tv? How will Leela save her son?
This movie talks about lots of topics of our society. Here, Rasukutty's character is the sweetest of all. He doesn't care about the gender of his father, all he cares is the presence of his father in his life and the love of his father. It's so innocent that it teaches us how normal this thing is.


Positive Points-
1. The story and the screenplay is the most attractive element of the movie. It's so well written. Hats off !
2. Performance of the whole casting is just outstanding !
3. Director did an excellent job.

Nothing !

IIT-Gandhinagar team develops AI-based tool to detect COVID-19 using chest X-rays

Researchers at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Gandhinagar have developed an Artificial Intelligence-based(AI) deep learning tool for detection of COVID-19 from chest X-ray images. The online tool, which indicates the probability if a person is infected with COVID-19, can be used for quick preliminary diagnosis before the medical test. It is being tested by the Indian Institute of Public Health (IIPH) . The IIT researchers pooled the data of X-ray images of COVID-19 infected patients as well as healthy persons from different sources available on the internet.They trained a machine learning architecture using deep learning algorithms with these images. Krishna Prasad Miyapuram, the associate professor of cognitive science and computer science, who supervised the IIT project claimed that the tool outperforms other such high-tech devices available globally.
