In a recent interview with Sourav Ganguly,Indian Test Cricket Opener Mayank Agarwal asked to Dada,"Your word got Mahi bhai in the Indian team and the rest is history.Is that a myth or reality?"


Ganguly replied,"That's true but that's my job isn't it.That's every captains job....pick the best and make the best team possible.I am happy that Indian Cricket got MS Dhoni because he is unbelievable. "

"One of the best finisher in World Cricket" said Mayank Agarwal.


Ganguly added not just a great finisher but one of the greatest players in World Cricket.Not only he played down the order and finished the matches but he also played up the order and was very destructive.While I was the Captain he batted at No.3 and played some phenomenal innings.I think he should bat higher up in the order.

IIT-Gandhinagar team develops AI-based tool to detect COVID-19 using chest X-rays

Researchers at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Gandhinagar have developed an Artificial Intelligence-based(AI) deep learning tool for detection of COVID-19 from chest X-ray images. The online tool, which indicates the probability if a person is infected with COVID-19, can be used for quick preliminary diagnosis before the medical test. It is being tested by the Indian Institute of Public Health (IIPH) . The IIT researchers pooled the data of X-ray images of COVID-19 infected patients as well as healthy persons from different sources available on the internet.They trained a machine learning architecture using deep learning algorithms with these images. Krishna Prasad Miyapuram, the associate professor of cognitive science and computer science, who supervised the IIT project claimed that the tool outperforms other such high-tech devices available globally.
