Jallikattu- Don't Miss This One

An outstanding experience!

Jallikattu is an Indian Malayalam language movie released in 2019. It's based on the short story Maoist by Hareesh. The movie is directed by Lijo Jose Pellissery and it's his 2nd movie.

Kalan Varkey, a buffalo butcher, is a meat seller in a village. The whole village relies on him for fresh meat and he is known to everyone there. Every evening he slaughters a buffalo to sell its meat in the next day. But one day, a buffalo runs away from the place and creates chaos across the village. Then, people from the whole village run after the buffalo to stop it and to take a share of its meat. And soon there starts a competition like scenario to slaughter the animal. They try everything they can but it seems really hard to catch the animal. So, will they be able to stop the buffalo ?
Eventually, the movie asks you a question like who the real Animal is? Have human beings evolved yet? It shows you the fierce nature of men.

Positive Points-
1. The cinematography of this movie is just Awesome! Its a total visual treat.
2. The background score is bound to give you chills. It's damn too good.
3. The screenplay is so fast paced that there isn't a single moment when you feel bored. And within the layers, it asks you some questions about humanity and human nature. That makes this one more attractive.
4. The Director did a fabulous job here. The chaos all over the village is been beautifully portrayed.
5. You won't feel for a single moment that they are Acting on the screen, it seems like they are the real residents of the village. And no other compliment can be better than this for the acting performances.
Negative Points-
Nothing!!
