IPL might take place in UAE as per reports

The 13th Edition of the Indian Premiere league (IPL) is reportedly going to happen in UAE,from September to November.Earlier BCCI President Sourav Ganguly said that conducting  IPL in 2020 in India will be his first priority and if the situation doesn't gets normal then they are ready to take it to the overseas.He also says that if IPL doesn't happen this year,there will be a loss of 4000 crore rupees.


According to reports,IPL owners met this week and they have no queries as IPL is going outside of India.As T20 World Cup is almost cancelled in this year and we are just waiting for the official news.Similarly Asia Cup also postponed and so there will be a no headache for BCCI to conduct the IPL from September to November.

Earlier in 2009,IPL was hosted in South Africa and in 2014 a part of IPL was played in UAE because of elections.So it is not the first time that we are going to see IPL outside India.

IIT-Gandhinagar team develops AI-based tool to detect COVID-19 using chest X-rays

Researchers at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Gandhinagar have developed an Artificial Intelligence-based(AI) deep learning tool for detection of COVID-19 from chest X-ray images. The online tool, which indicates the probability if a person is infected with COVID-19, can be used for quick preliminary diagnosis before the medical test. It is being tested by the Indian Institute of Public Health (IIPH) . The IIT researchers pooled the data of X-ray images of COVID-19 infected patients as well as healthy persons from different sources available on the internet.They trained a machine learning architecture using deep learning algorithms with these images. Krishna Prasad Miyapuram, the associate professor of cognitive science and computer science, who supervised the IIT project claimed that the tool outperforms other such high-tech devices available globally.
