Big news : IPL to start from 21st September and will end on 8th November.

As per BCCI,finally IPL will be going to happen and the tournament will kick start from 21 September (Saturday)and the final will be on  8 November (Sunday) in UAE.It will be a 51 days tournament.The Franchises will leave from India by 20 August so that the team gets 1 months for practise.


Next week,the Governing council will meet and will finalise the schedule and every other things.The BCCI might have also informed the franchises about the plans.

IIT-Gandhinagar team develops AI-based tool to detect COVID-19 using chest X-rays

Researchers at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Gandhinagar have developed an Artificial Intelligence-based(AI) deep learning tool for detection of COVID-19 from chest X-ray images. The online tool, which indicates the probability if a person is infected with COVID-19, can be used for quick preliminary diagnosis before the medical test. It is being tested by the Indian Institute of Public Health (IIPH) . The IIT researchers pooled the data of X-ray images of COVID-19 infected patients as well as healthy persons from different sources available on the internet.They trained a machine learning architecture using deep learning algorithms with these images. Krishna Prasad Miyapuram, the associate professor of cognitive science and computer science, who supervised the IIT project claimed that the tool outperforms other such high-tech devices available globally.
