Mostly the agriculture sector got highly affected in US and showed a drastic fall in graph.
It was mainly performed to put pressure on China and somehow it became successful. Vietnam, Taiwan and South Korea are the countries which got highly benefited due to this trade war.

But here comes the main point, are these facts also applicable for India?? The answer is a big “NO”, because of our country’s worst GDP rate and our country is not prepared for it.

India-China Trade -

China imported goods worth $70 BILLION (2018-2019) and India exported goods worth $16 BILLION (2018-2019) with a great trade deficit. Because of our country’s dependence on electronic and pharmaceutical goods on China (60-70 %), which must have to be replaced by Indian alternatives.

How to start Boycotting??

In some aspects, we can start boycotting Chinese softwares installed in our smartphones, by simply uninstalling them from our phone and replacing them by other alternatives (easily available on Play/App Store) as well as hardware replacement but it will take time.

Chinese investments on Indian Startups –

There are many Indian startups like Zomato, Swiggy, Ola, Paytm, Flipkart, Oyo and many other companies where majority of the investments were done by Chinese companies and it is a very debatable topic. If it is 10-20 %, it is alright, but when it comes to 40-45% share holding by Chinese companies like in case of Paytm, we must have to avoid these platforms.
