Indian Test Cricket star Cheteshwar Pujara have started training and talks about mental toughness.


Cheteshwar Pujara,who is one of the most important player in the Indian Test team,have resumed his training with few of the Saurashtra team players at his academy.


He said in an interview that he is batting nearly about 20-25 minutes,thrice a week."Its eventually tougher to bat in the first week,but he will get used to it from the next week because he has played cricket for so long,that's where the role of experience comes into play,"said the 32 year old.

He further added that being mentally tough  have helped him overcome this situation.A test cricketer neither get too many matches in a year nor the matches happens frequently. So they have to play the domestic cricket to be in touch.Because of mental toughness,he can take long breaks comfortably.

Earlier in 2008 and 2011,he was having a knee injury and at that time he was out of cricket for more than 6 months.He said that it  was much tougher to make a comeback when you have an injury rather than this.But in this lockdown, he have trained at home to make himself physically fit.
